Indonesia is part of the Dutch East Indies and is now the largest island nation in the world. As a result, it is also one of the largest producers of coffee in the world. The country produces both robusta coffee and specialty coffee grown on several Indonesian islands, including Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi.  It's worth mentioning that the Island of Java is home to the creator known as the Ijen plateau. 

Java is particularly famous for its coffee production, with the island being home to some of the best-tasting notes in the world. The Ijen Plateau is a prime location for coffee cultivation, with coffee plants, are grown at high altitudes of over 1,000 meters above sea level. The resulting coffee cherries produce a full-bodied, rich taste that is unmatched.
